This is not really a confession more of a explanation why I think Fuji tv decided to make a remake of hanakimi. Hanakimi with Toma, Shun and Maki was very popular so obviously they hoped a remake would be as popular. And Maeda Atsuko is hugely popular at the moment so they hoped her fans would watch. But Fuji's mistake was to make it into a carbon copy of the 2007 version, where every scene was replayed just with a different cast. Also it was just to soon for a new version to air.
